clinical Experience of Rare Splenic Disease Healed by Splenectomy

Abstract
|

|
|
We experienced 5 cases of rare diseases involving spleen. They showed remarkable splenomegaly with ´ mild or severe hematologic abnormalities and characterisiec pathologic features. Clinical improvement followed splenectomy in all cases. They were Gaucher´s disease, hairy cell leukemia, cavernous hemangioma of spleen, splenic cyst, histiocytic medullary reticulosis. A brief review of literature was made.
